Recently, some friends were telling me that Skippy peanut butter was their favorite.  I remembered back to when Skippy was a staple in our house.  The kids loved peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and ate them several times a week and honestly, my husband and I loved them too.  When I became more aware about reading ingredient labels, I found that most nut butters contain added sugar and hydrogenated oils which are on the avoid list for me.  Nuts are the only ingredient needed to make nuts butter and a little sea salt can be added if desired.  Read labels and look for brands that only have those two ingredients.  Watch this quick video for more information.
